Al Milad Marble, UAE-based Natural Stone Specialists/processors of Beige Marble also known as Desert Beige Marble a type of Omani Beige Marble, has been involved with the quarrying industry for over 3 generations. Its founders pioneered advanced quarrying and extraction techniques in the GCC during the construction of the Bahrain causeway in the late 1970s. Al Milad established the GCC Natural Industry with the discovery of Marble in Oman in the 1980s and supplied iconic projects such as the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, The Royal Opera House In Oman, Signature Villas on the Palm, St Regis Hotel on Saadiyat Island over the past 4 decades.
Al Milad has recently worked with Omniyat on their Opus Dorchester Hotel, Anwa, and Sterling projects respectively as the premier Natural Stone Supplier. Senior members of Al Milad have been speakers at the Middle East Stone Show in 2018, 2019, and 2020
Al Milad is also a member of the US-based Natural Stone Institute. Senior management at Al Milad has taught the Natural Stone Institute Continuing Education Program in the UAE to over 500 designers/architects including Gensler, Woods Baggot, Zaha Hadid, American University of Sharjah, and American University of Dubai, etc. as an effort to better the understanding of Natural Stone within the Design Community.
